Our Services

We are able to carry out alterations and repairs on a huge variety of garments, including the new suit you've just bought, or those trousers you have just rescued from the bottom of the cupboard, but I'm afraid we can do nothing with the design of that jumper you got last Christmas!

To give you an idea of the services we can provide you, we can:

•  Shorten / lengthen sleeves, hemlines, trousers etc.
•  Take in / let out garments
•  Pick up / narrow shoulders
•  Add or repair accessories such as zips / buttons etc.

Please note: these are just examples of what we are able to do, there is no real limit to what we are able to achieve. If you are unsure of whether the repair / alteration you require can be fixed, please either bring the garment to us or explain what you require in an email or phone call, and we will let you know whether we are able to complete it.

How to arrange an alteration with us

If you require any clothing to be altered the process is quite simple:-

Firstly you will need to get the garment, and yourself to us. This means you will need to be in easy reach of Portsmouth, Hampshire. You can find our address and a map on our find us page. Please call us or email us before arriving to arrange an appointment.

Please remember to bring your shoes or undergarments you intend to wear with the item(s) of clothing. For example: higher heels will require a greater drop on the dress / trousers to fit correctly.

Once you meet us we will discuss your alteration, take measurements and give you a more reliable quotation. We should then have the alteration ready for you in about 3-5 working days (dependant on workload and complexity of the alteration(s) required).
